Morocco Kicks Off 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Against Tanzania: Match Time and Lineup Preview
Morocco faces Tanzania this Tuesday, November 21 as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers to be held in the United States and Canada. This match is scheduled live tonight at 8pm.
The Atlas Lions make their debut tonight against a Tanzanian team ready to take on the semi-finalists of the last World Cup. Walid Regragui, the coach of Morocco, will undoubtedly rely on a squad that should not change much compared to Qatar. We should therefore find Yassine Bounou, Saiss, Aguerd or even Amrabat. Hakimi will also be there, as well as En-Nesyri and probably Hakim Ziyech, if he recovers from injury.
Morocco is present in group E along with Congo, Zambia, Niger who, on paper, are largely within the reach of the Atlas Lions but of whom we will have to be wary, the matches in Africa sometimes reserve bad surprises. Eritrea, also in this group, has decided to cancel its participation. Rumors indicate that the officials fear that the players will defect when they find themselves abroad.
