Morocco Introduces Standardized Health Form for All Travelers Entering Country

All travelers wishing to access Moroccan territory will now have to meet the same conditions. Regardless of the mode of transport, the country’s health form has been updated, simplified and standardized.
This decision is part of the implementation of the recommendations of the meeting of the National Air Transport Facilitation Committee, held in June, indicates a press release from the Ministry of Health.
From now on, the mode of transport no longer matters. Whether by air or sea, the health form has been updated, simplified and standardized for all passengers, it is specified, in the new document.
The objective is to detect early, not only possible cases of Covid-19, but also suspected cases of any other communicable disease such as monkeypox, the same source points out. "The passenger’s health form is therefore the initial tool in the process of identifying and tracing contact cases for investigation and response," it notes.
In addition to the passenger’s health form, downloadable online before boarding, travelers will also have to provide a complete vaccination passport or a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours (time between sampling and registration). As for children aged 12 to 18, they must have a complete vaccination passport. Those under 12 are exempt from any requirement, the ministry explains.
