Morocco’s Influence Threatens Algeria’s Bid for CAF Executive Committee Seat

Morocco would have shattered Algeria’s dream of obtaining a position on the Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Are the upcoming elections for the partial renewal of the Executive Committee (COMEX) of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) escaping Algeria? Djahid Zefizef, who is vying for a seat on the CAF Executive Committee (EXCO), could suffer a setback. Faouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), "who supported the candidacy of Abdelhakim Al-Shalmani", who is running for a second term on the COMEX for the North African Union (UNAF) zone, would have "managed to turn some voters" against the Algerian candidate, believes the very Moroccan-phobic fennecfootball.com.
