Morocco Hotels Slash Rates up to 65% to Boost Domestic Tourism

Up to 65% maximum reduction of the usual rate. This is the promotional offer that hoteliers are offering to national tourists. An offer that varies depending on availability, the number of nights or even weekends and public holidays.
The Premium hotel chains, whose prices are considered too expensive by Moroccans, are also in the fever of promotion. In this period when the borders are closed, they have revised the prices downwards in the hope of filling their hotels with national tourists.
The objective targeted by the professionals is to inject new momentum into domestic tourism. According to the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), which recently conducted a study on the expectations of Moroccans in terms of tourism, the latter have a "strong desire to travel within the country after deconfinement, provided that health measures are respected and promotional offers are adapted to their budgets and the realities of the regions of the kingdom".
All health precautions are taken to preserve the health of customers, reassure the promoters on their digital channels. The National Tourism Council, through a letter addressed to its members on the eve of deconfinement, had drawn their attention to the strict respect of these measures.
It should be noted that this promotion is in line with the policy of the Office, which has been investing for a few weeks in the revival of the sector, through promotional actions planned or launched to enhance the most popular regions for domestic tourists, and improve the perception of the Moroccan tourist destination by international tourists.
