Morocco to Host Second Negev Summit in Dakhla, Focusing on Regional Cooperation

After Israel and Bahrain, the next Negev Summit, bringing together senior Israeli, American and Arab officials, will be held in Morocco in January 2023.
More specifically, the meeting will take place in Dakhla, report Israeli media, specifying that this second meeting will be devoted to reflections on "regional projects in the fields of regional security, food and water security, energy, health, education and tourism."
Initiated by the Israeli Foreign Minister, Yair Lapid, this meeting brings together the foreign ministers of Israel, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Egypt, who have committed to uniting their strength around common challenges.
"We must build momentum through concrete steps that people feel and that contribute to improving the life of the world and opening up promising prospects for the youth and peoples of our region," Nasser Bourita had declared at the end of the first meeting last March.
