Morocco hit by an earthquake again

An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 hit the Marrakech region on Thursday evening, just a few months after the terrible earthquake that devastated the region.
This earthquake had its epicenter in the commune of Aghbal, in the province of Haouz. No casualties were reported by the authorities, but this tremor has revived the fear among the populations already mourned by the earthquake of last September.
After the devastating earthquake of September 8, which struck the southern provinces of Marrakech (Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Taroudant, Ouarzazate and Azilal) and caused nearly 3,000 deaths and more than 5,000 injuries, the National Institute of Geophysics (ING) predicted a 10% increase in seismic activity in the kingdom.
