Morocco Health Minister: Ramadan Without COVID Restrictions Possible if Vaccination Succeeds

Moroccans can hope for a return to normal life starting in the month of Ramadan. The announcement was made by the Minister of Health, Khalid Ait Taleb, during his appearance on the "Tribune de presse" program on channel 2M.
For the minister, it will be possible to spend the month of Ramadan without any health restrictions, if the vaccination campaign takes place under optimal conditions and in accordance with the strategy in place.
"If all the conditions are met, we will be able to spend the next Ramadan without restrictions," Khalid Ait Taleb said during the program, stressing that a return to normal life could take place as early as next May.
It should be recalled that the Ministry of Health gave its green light on Wednesday for the emergency use of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine. This could be used to launch the vaccination campaign, scheduled for mid-January, according to sources from the ministry.
