The match marks the start of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers for Mohamed Ouahbi’s men. Morocco are in Group A with Gabon, Niger and Lesotho. The top two teams in the group will qualify for the final tournament, hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
