Morocco’s Fruit and Vegetable Exports to Russia Plummet 33% in 2022

Moroccan exports of fruits and vegetables to Russia have recorded a rather worrying decline. Morocco is no longer its main supplier.
In 2022, Moroccan exports of fruits and vegetables to Russia fell by 33% compared to 2021, reports East Fruit. In detail, clementines and mandarins fell by 11% and 7% respectively.
However, they represent 71% of fruit export earnings. As for lemon exports, they fell by 42%. As for orange exports, they decreased by 19%. In contrast, exports of fresh blueberries to Russia increased by 15%.
