Morocco Faces Ghana in Crucial U23 AFCON Group A Clash

In a press conference on Monday, Issame Charaï, the coach of the Lionceaux de l’Atlas, shared his strategy for Morocco’s match against Ghana on Tuesday, June 27.
Charaï first addressed the preparation his team has undertaken for the confrontation against Ghana, which will take place at the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat. Currently, the two teams share the lead in Group A of the U23 AFCON following their respective victories against Guinea and Congo. "We didn’t have much time, but we prepared for this Ghanaian team," said the coach, emphasizing the offensive approach and speed of the opposing team, while revealing that his team had also identified some of their weaknesses.
Issame Charaï also noted the importance of the start of the match and the need for the Moroccan team to quickly adapt to the Ghanaian tactics. He expressed his hope that his players "can free themselves quickly", adding that the Moroccan team will focus on Ghana’s speed and strength on the wings. Furthermore, he stressed the crucial role of the public: "The supporters must give an impetus to the players from the beginning."
The coach of the Lionceaux showed humility in speaking of respect for the opponent: "We must not tell ourselves that we are the best. We have to work harder to improve our qualities and gain confidence."
