Morocco Faces Egypt in U20 AFCON Semi-Final: Match Time and Broadcast Details

On Monday, Morocco narrowly defeated Sierra Leone (1-0) to secure their ticket to the semi-finals of the Egypt U20 AFCON and automatically qualify for the FIFA U20 World Cup, which will be held from September 27 to October 19, 2025 in Chile. The victory against Sierra Leone was "well deserved," said Mohamed Ouahbi, coach of the Moroccan team, at the post-match press conference. He expressed satisfaction with his players’ performance. Ouahbi also congratulated the Sierra Leone team, describing them as a tough opponent.
After their victory against Sierra Leone, Morocco will face Egypt, the host country of the U20 AFCON, in the semi-final this Thursday. Ouahbi assured that his team "can do great things," that they will continue on the same path in the tournament, and that the main objective is to reach the final. This determination was confirmed by Ilias Boumassaoudi, who was named man of the match in the previous game. The players are determined to win against Egypt and continue their journey, he said.
