Morocco Faces Backlash Over Selective Repatriation of Families from Gaza

The Moroccan Front for Support to Palestine and Against Normalization has criticized the separation of members of Moroccan families stranded in Gaza, carried out by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the repatriations.
In a statement, the Front denounces the ministry’s policy of repatriating from Gaza the wives and children without their husbands and fathers, considering that they do not have Moroccan nationality. The movement also criticizes the provision of consular services to Moroccans residing in Israel by the Moroccan liaison office in Tel Aviv.
The Front also deplores the Prime Minister of Morocco’s refusal to receive the popular petition launched by the National Action Group for Palestine to demand "the end of the normalization of the Moroccan state’s relations with the Zionist enemy". It also calls for other solidarity initiatives with Palestine, notably calling for a boycott of Carrefour stores.
The Front also welcomes the continuation of the "Zionist entity" by South Africa before the International Court of Justice, and condemns the dismissals of several American university presidents who have expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people.
