Morocco to Face Underdog Benin in Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16

Arriving first in Group D, the "Atlas Lions" will face the "Squirrels", the Benin team, in the round of 16 of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). This team may seem easy but, given their recent matches, Morocco will have to be careful not to be too confident.
This is a first for the Benin team. It qualifies, for the first time in its history, for the second round of the biggest African football competition. If the Beninese reach this stage of the CAN, it is undoubtedly because the Moroccans will have to take this match seriously.
Hervé Renard recalled, during the post-match press conference, regarding the Morocco-South Africa match: "These are the best teams on the African stage that are participating in this Championship, which will make the next round very difficult." And this will be the case.
To recall, the "Squirrels" drew three times against Ghana, Guinea-Bissau and Cameroon, while Morocco won its three matches with the same score of 1-0.
This match between the two teams will take place on Friday, July 5 at 5 p.m. (Moroccan time), at the "Al Salam" Stadium in Cairo. Like the other matches of the "Atlas Lions", the Moroccan supporters will undoubtedly be very numerous to come and encourage the players.
