Morocco Eyes Israeli PULS Rocket System to Modernize Military Arsenal

As part of the continuous strengthening and modernization of its army, Morocco wants to acquire the Israeli PULS (Precise and Universal Launching System) rocket launcher, capable of reaching targets up to 300 kilometers away.
Manufactured by the Israeli company Elbit Systems, the PULS rocket launcher is characterized by its versatility (adaptable to existing systems), a feature that motivates the Moroccan army to acquire this system capable of firing 18 Accular 122 mm missiles with a range of 35 km, 10 Accular 160 mm missiles with a range of 40 km, 4 EXTRA missiles with a range of 150 km or 4 Predator Hawk missiles with a range of 300 km. The system can accurately and effectively destroy targets from any distance up to 300 km, reports El Debate.
This system is considered the best response to the spread of certain ballistic missiles in the region, and aims to maintain the "balance of power" in the region, it is analyzed. The Israeli PULS is an alternative to the American HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) system designed by Lockheed Martin, which has shown its effectiveness in Ukraine.
Morocco has already acquired several units of Bell 412 EPI helicopters equipped with missiles. It has also received US approval for the purchase of F-16 fighter jets, an advanced model equipped with sophisticated AESA radars and significant armament capacity. The kingdom is also interested in the American F-35 fifth-generation stealth and powerful fighters, to counter any potential attacks from Algeria which, according to various sources, would have ordered the Su-57, stealthy fighters of Russian manufacture.
