New Year’s celebrations will not be able to be celebrated this year. Moroccan authorities have announced the maintenance of the curfew and the prohibition of all gatherings.
This year, we will have to resign ourselves to leaving the end-of-year celebrations aside. The Walis and governors have been ordered not to let their guard down and to avoid any public gathering.
Thus, the curfew will be maintained, as the risk of a new wave of infections is not to be ruled out during this period.
This decision is a new blow to tourism professionals, who were hoping for an easing of restrictions allowing Moroccans to travel freely throughout the Kingdom.
