Morocco Expands Travel Access: 22 Countries Added to Low-Risk List Amid COVID Measures

Morocco has updated its list A, which includes all countries with positive indicators regarding the control of the epidemiological situation, particularly the spread of virus variants. New countries such as Libya, Turkey and Qatar are now on this list.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Gabon, Gambia, Greece, Equatorial Guinea, French Guiana, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Latvia, Libya, Lithuania, Micronesia, Mozambique, Uganda, Qatar, Senegal, Turkey, Ukraine. These are the new countries admitted to list A. Travelers from these countries - whether Moroccan nationals, foreigners residing in Morocco, or citizens of these countries or foreigners residing there - can access Moroccan territory if they have a vaccination certificate and/or a negative PCR test result of at least 48 hours prior to the date of entry into national territory, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad said.
As for travelers from countries on list B, they must present a negative PCR test of less than 48 hours prior to the date of entry into national territory, then undergo a 10-day health isolation. This list concerns 74 countries, including India, Algeria, Argentina or South Africa, "which are experiencing the spread of variants or the lack of accurate statistics on the epidemiological situation".
Morocco updates these two lists "at least twice a month as needed".
