Morocco Expands Repatriation Flights for Citizens Stranded by COVID-19 Border Closure

The repatriation of Moroccans stranded abroad continues according to the health measures defined by the authorities. Several flights are thus planned in the coming days.
Stranded for more than three months abroad, Moroccans are now returning to the country. They found themselves far from their loved ones, due to the closure of the country’s borders due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Le 360, all these flights are operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Royal Air Maroc, on board which only 150 passengers are allowed to board from each repatriation city. In addition, the repatriation costs are borne by the State. On disembarking, they are confined, also at the expense of the State, for nine days in tourist establishments.
