Morocco Expands Firefighting Fleet with 3 New Canadair Water Bombers

Morocco has decided to strengthen its fleet of Canadair aircraft. In this regard, three additional aircraft have been ordered and will be delivered to the kingdom soon.
Three new Canadair aircraft for Morocco. After several months of negotiations, Morocco has finalized the acquisition of three CL-415 Canadair aircraft from Bombardier Aerospace in Canada, reports Le360. This aircraft manufacturer will deliver the three aircraft to the kingdom in the next few days. This new arrival will bring the number of Canadair aircraft available to the country to eight.
The Canadair CL-415 is an amphibious water bomber aircraft specialized in firefighting. Equipped with Pratt & Whitney Canada PW123AF turboprop engines, the aircraft has a maximum cruising speed of 359 km/h. It can refuel at sea in a river, lake or reservoir in 12 seconds.
