Morocco Excludes Under-18s from COVID Vaccine, Citing Stronger Immunity

Before the commission of social sectors of the House of Representatives, the Minister of Health pointed out that young people under 18 are better protected by their immunity.
The Minister of Health explained that the segments of citizens over 18 years of age are the most concerned by the anti-coronavirus vaccine because people under this age have much more important immunity.
During his intervention in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Khalid Ait Taleb specified that this greater and stronger bodily immunity of those under 18 gives them more resistance and protection as soon as they contract the virus. This allows them to recover faster than adults.
Unlike their peers of the same age, the most fragile of this category, namely people suffering from chronic diseases or osteoporosis (note, a disease that weakens the bone), will be taken into account during the vaccination campaign against Covid-19, reassured the minister.
