Morocco Enlists Imams to Boost COVID-19 Vaccination Rates

The Moroccan authorities are seeking the help of imams in charge of leading the Friday prayer in the kingdom’s mosques in order to raise awareness among the faithful about vaccination against Covid-19.
In a circular, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has invited imams to devote a few minutes of their sermon this Friday, November 5, to raising awareness among the faithful about vaccination against Covid-19. The goal is to get the faithful to get vaccinated so that in turn, they can convince their loved ones to do the same.

The religion advises to protect oneself from danger and to preserve the health of others, specifies the circular of the ministry, which assures that the State has taken all the necessary measures to make the vaccine accessible to everyone.
