Morocco Emerges as Top Summer Destination for Corsican Travelers

In Corsica, Morocco is one of the sought-after destinations in travel agencies. The kingdom has always been popular with the French.
The people of Ajaccio want to travel this summer. Morocco is one of the destinations that interests them, reports Corse matin. "What we can say is that there are bookings for the Mediterranean Europe this summer. Especially Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal. We also notice that part of the clientele is interested in Morocco, which, before the pandemic, was a very popular holiday destination," says Élodie Andreani of Aria Voyages.
"But the realization for this country is slow in coming, she notes. Those who want to go there are still hesitant insofar as Morocco has reopened its airspace only recently," she adds. At Évasion Voyages, the observation is almost identical. "The demand for Europe and essentially for the countries of the South, is a reality. We also have a clientele who is ready to go back to amusement parks, on the continent," we are informed.
She explains that "for more distant trips, people are hesitant and remain very cautious in view of the health situation. It must be said that if travelers can now travel in Europe, that does not mean that it is the case for the rest of the world. Many countries still have strong restrictions on foreign tourists and air traffic remains in the doldrums."
