Morocco Edges Namibia 1-0 in Tense Africa Cup of Nations Opener

The Moroccans can breathe a sigh of relief. They won, this Sunday afternoon, June 23, against the Namibia team, for their first match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN).
But it was difficult for the "Atlas Lions" as they had to wait until the second half and the 89th minute for the relief. It is signed by the Namibian Itamunua Keimuini against his own goal in the 89th minute of play, after a very nice free kick from Hakim Ziyech. Despite this victory, we had scares throughout the match against an opponent still considered easy.
With this victory, the Moroccans take the first place in their group, pending the result of the match that will oppose the Ivory Coast team to that of South Africa.
The national coach, Hervé Renard, will have the heavy task of finding, for the next matches, the right formula and the typical team. This one will have to impose itself, so that Morocco takes the lead in this "Group of Death".
