Morocco Dominates Arab Futsal Cup, Advances to Quarter-Finals with 6-0 Win
The Moroccan futsal team secured their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup by crushing the Lebanese selection with a resounding score of 6-0, in a match played on Friday in Jeddah.
This victory consolidates the position of the Moroccans, already double defending champions, who had opened the competition with a clear 5-0 victory over the Comoros team.
The Moroccan players have not finished their first round journey. They will face the Kuwaiti team in the 3rd and final group stage match, scheduled for June 11.
For the record, the 7th edition of the Arab Futsal Cup brings together national teams from various Arab nations including Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Algeria, Palestine, Mauritania, the Comoros and Tajikistan.
