Morocco Crushes Libya 5-1, Advances to Arab Futsal Cup Final

The Moroccan futsal team has once again demonstrated its dominance in futsal. By crushing Libya 5-1 in the semi-finals on Wednesday, June 14, it has confirmed its place among the best Arab nations in the discipline. The match, which took place at the Jeddah Sports Hall, was dominated from start to finish by the Atlas Lions.
The Moroccan team has shone throughout the tournament. In the group stage, they crushed the Comoros (5-0), Lebanon (6-0) and Kuwait (4-2), before beating Saudi Arabia in the quarter-finals (5-2). These performances demonstrate the assurance and mastery of this team under the direction of Hicham Dguig.
In the other semi-final, Kuwait got rid of Algeria with a score of 3 to 2. It is therefore Kuwait who will face the Atlas Lions in the final this Friday, June 16. This final will see two of the best Arab futsal nations compete, with Morocco currently ranked 8th in the world and Kuwait, the third best Arab nation, occupying the 41st place in the world ranking.
