Morocco Deploys Advanced US-Made Mobile Radars to Curb Speeding

No need to pass in front of a radar to be flashed. Morocco has just acquired 280 radars that detect and record speeding before the vehicle even passes, at a distance of more than 50 meters. This will certainly deter more than one from driving fast.
This radar, manufactured by the American company Laser Technology, Inc (LTI), is called the Trucam LTI 20/20. At a distance of more than 50 meters, it records speeding, and, equipped with a digital camera, it records a video. It can also read the license plate and issue a ticket. No need to stop the vehicle to draw up the report.
Najib Boulif, the Secretary of State for Transport, was responsible for handing over 280 such radars to the agents, gendarmerie and police, in charge of road control, during a ceremony organized by his secretariat.
According to a press release from the Department of Transport: "these new radars will allow speed to be measured before the arrival of vehicles and after passing (the radars), unlike traditional radars". Road traffic offenses can also be proven, with videos and photos as evidence, thanks to this new device.
The radar will even detect the make of the vehicle, in addition to the license plate number. Enough to dispel all doubts (and bad faith)...
