Government spokesman Mustapha El Khalfi denied on Thursday the cancellation of bookings by foreign tourists following the murder of two Scandinavian tourists in the Imlil region.
For Khalfi, the response to these criminal acts lies in the continuation of tourism activity, which strengthens confidence in security and in the strategy adopted by the country in this area.
Earlier, during the opening of the Council of Government, Saâdeddine El Othmani had described this act as a "stab in the back of Morocco and Moroccans", expressing his sincere condolences to the families of the two victims and their respective countries.
