Morocco’s Democracy Thrives Under King Mohammed VI’s Inclusive Leadership, Expert Says

Jean-Paul Carteron, founder-president of the Crans Montana Forum, said on Monday, January 20 in Rabat, that the smooth running of Moroccan democracy draws its strength from the outstretched hand of King Mohammed VI to all the driving forces of the nation.
"The strength of Morocco, as a country experiencing a strong dynamic of construction, lies in the fact that its Head of State is not at the heart of local political dissensions, unlike many leaders of democratic or non-democratic countries," said Jean-Paul Carteron, founder-president of the Crans Montana Forum, when presenting the main lines of the next edition of his Forum, which he is organizing from March 18 to 21 in Oued Eddahab. He also added that Morocco also draws its strength from the constancy of the king’s personality, his finesse and his hand always outstretched, even to the most intransigent opponents of the kingdom.
According to Jean-Paul Carteron, all these qualities mean that partners have confidence in the stability of Morocco, particularly the southern provinces. "The windows and doors have opened because we have brought more than six thousand participants" to the Crans Montana forum in Dakhla over the past six years, he rejoiced.
