Morocco Debunks False Rumors of School Closures Amid Coronavirus Concerns

There has never been any question of closing schools from Wednesday, March 4 due to the first case of coronavirus in Morocco. The Ministry of National Education has refuted this allegation circulating on social networks, calling on parents not to succumb to rumors that have very specific purposes.
The doctored photo circulating on social media, with a comment stating the closure of all schools, starting on Wednesday, due to the corona virus, is fake news, the Ministry of National Education said in a statement. It called on parents not to succumb to panic, reports ecoactu.ma.
The Ministry of National Education also urged Moroccans to make sure of the veracity of the information circulating, by visiting its website and official page, or by contacting its competent services before relaying any information concerning the education sector.
