Morocco’s Covid-19 Vaccine Rollout Delayed, Raising Public Concern

Where is the Covid-19 vaccine? In the absence of the large-scale vaccination campaign announced as the salvation in the fight against the pandemic, Moroccans are worried about the delay and the silence of the authorities.
Morocco had planned to start the national Covid-19 vaccination campaign in December last year. But since then, information has multiplied without really giving details on the reasons justifying the delay of this campaign presented as the effective solution to deal with the pandemic that continues to claim victims and slow down the proper functioning of activities in all sectors, reports the daily Assabah.
Yet Morocco has completed all the formalities, according to the regular update by the Minister of Health. By organizing the clinical trials, the authorities have insisted that the vaccine was the ultimate solution to significantly curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Morocco was supposed to be one of the first countries in the world to launch the vaccination. But the campaign has still not started. And the authorities are not giving any explanation for this delay, leaving the door open to rumors.
The Minister of Health assures, for his part, that Morocco has played its role in this operation and that the real concern lies in the delivery of the doses ordered by the Kingdom.
