Morocco’s COVID-19 Death Toll Surpasses 4,000 as 77 New Fatalities Reported

Morocco recorded 77 deaths in 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths due to Covid-19 to 4,059 since the start of the epidemic in the Kingdom.
The Grand Casablanca-Settat region recorded 31 deaths, including 26 in Casablanca, 3 in Settat and 2 in Berrechid. It is followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, which reports 12 deaths with 4 in Salé, 3 in Sidi Kacem, 2 in Rabat, 1 in Kénitra, 1 in Khémisset and 1 in Sidi Slimane. In the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region, the coronavirus killed 10 patients, including 4 in Tétouan, 3 in Al Hoceima, 2 in M’Diq-Fnideq and 1 in Chefchaouen.
In Marrakech-Safi, 6 people died from Covid-19. Marrakech and Rehamna each have 2 deaths, against 1 in Essaouira and 1 in Chichaoua. The Souss-Massa region has 5 deaths, including 2 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 1 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul, 1 in Taroudant and 1 in Tiznit.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra, the Oriental and Fès-Meknès each report 4 deaths. While Oujda-Angad announces 2 deaths, Guercif and Driouech 1 death each, Fquih Ben Salah, Khouribga and Azilal have 2 and 1 deaths respectively. As for Fès-Meknès, it records 2 deaths in Taza, 1 death in Fès and 1 other in Meknès.
In the Darâa-Tafilalet region, only one person succumbed to Covid-19. On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, the Kingdom recorded a record of 82 deaths.
