Morocco’s COVID-19 Cases Surpass 2,600 as 106 New Infections Reported

The new report of infected cases presented this Saturday, April 18, shows 2,670 people infected with the coronavirus after the identification of 106 new cases of infection.
More than a month and a half after the identification of the first case of covid-19, Morocco has already recorded 137 deaths against 298 cases of recovery, including 17 new people cured in the last 24 hours.
As for the number of cases excluded after negative analysis results carried out in the laboratory, it was established at 10,441, according to the same source.
Regarding the new distribution map, the Casablanca-Settat region has largely exceeded the 700 case mark (760), while the Marrakech Safi region has skyrocketed and now has 648 cases, followed by Fès-Meknès (376).
Faced with this situation, the ministry calls on citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
