Morocco’s COVID-19 Cases Near 100 as New Infections Surge

Morocco is on the verge of crossing the 100-case mark with 10 new infected patients reported this Saturday, March 21.
According to the Ministry of Health, the balance sheet now stands at 96 cases with these new positive patients.
In addition to this remarkable progression during the day, after that of Friday (16 cases), a case of recovery has also been recorded. This is the French national of Senegalese origin.
The Rabat-Salé–Kénitra region now has the highest number of infections, along with the Casablanca-Settat region, with 22 cases each.
This is followed by the Fès–Meknès region (21), then the Marrakech-Safi region (10). The 5th place is held by Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (7 cases). As for the Oriental region, it has 4 cases behind Souss-Massa (6). Béni Mellal-Khenifra (2) brings up the rear with Draa-Tafilalet (1) and Guelmim-Ouad Noun (1).
