Morocco’s Coronavirus Cases Rise to 54, Health Minister Warns of Local Outbreaks

Morocco has recorded five new confirmed cases of coronavirus, bringing the official toll to 54.
According to the Minister of Health, Khalid Ait Taleb, most of these cases are imported. Other cases are linked to local contaminations. According to the minister, the appearance of small local outbreaks of contamination is noted, which should alert citizens to "redouble their efforts and vigilance, and comply with the preventive measures issued by the public authorities to overcome this fight together".
The official toll now stands at 54 cases of contamination as follows: Rabat-Kénitra (14), Casablanca-Settat (12), Fès-Meknès (12), Beni Mellal (2), Gulemim-Oued Noun (1), Marrakech-Safi (5), Oriental (2), Souss-Massa (4) and Tanger-Tétouan-Hiceima (2).
