Morocco Closes Key Train Stations in Rabat and Salé Amid COVID-19 Measures

As of this Saturday, April 18, 2020, the Rabat Agdal and Salé Tabriquet stations are closed. The announcement was made by the National Railway Office (ONCF).
It is no longer possible to reach Rabat Agdal and Salé Tabriquet by the National Railway Office (ONCF) trains. The Office is closing the Rabat Agdal and Salé Tabriquet stations from this Saturday, April 18, 2020.
This decision is part of the preventive measures against the virus, the Office said. However, the rapid shuttle trains (TNR) from Rabat city and Salé city will remain open. Customers are invited to take them for their travels.
Still to avoid the spread of covid-19 and to comply with preventive measures, the ONCF had already suspended all its trains, except for local shuttles. The ONCF also specifies, in a press release, that the shuttles were exclusively intended for people traveling for work reasons and who have derogatory travel certificates issued by the competent authorities.
