Morocco Cancels Medical Staff Leave as COVID-19 Cases Surge

The health personnel have not finished making sacrifices in the fight against Covid-19. The Ministry of Health plans to cancel the leave of doctors and nurses to cope with the worrying rise in cases of contamination.
Those on leave will also be recalled to their posts so that all skills are available to help contain the spread of Covid-19. The decision concerns the Casablanca-Settat region, reports Media24, which points out that the Tanger-Tétouan Al Hoceima and Fès-Meknès regions could also be affected, as they are facing "the strongest Covid-19 outbreak since March 2".
According to the same source, "for 5 months, health workers have paid a heavy price to Covid-19". They have sacrificed their health, their family life by showing relentless dedication and discretion.
