Morocco Braces for Intense Heat Wave with Temperatures Soaring to 45°C (113°F)

Morocco will be affected, starting today, by a heat wave, with temperatures largely exceeding 40 degrees, in several regions, especially in the southeast of the country.
This heatwave is expected to last at least until Tuesday, July 2nd, warns the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), in a weather bulletin, published on Saturday, June 29, 2019.
The intense heat, with temperatures between 40 and 45 degrees, should thus affect the provinces of Errachidia, Zagora, Tata, Assa-Zag, Aousserd, Oued Eddahab, as well as the far southeast.
Note that the heatwave has already claimed many victims in Europe, particularly in France and Spain. In the north of the latter country, temperatures have exceeded 40 degrees in recent days.
