Morocco Bolsters Naval Air Fleet with New BELL 412 EPI Helicopters

In order to modernize its air fleet, Morocco is said to have received an initial batch of BELL 412 EPI helicopters ordered from the American manufacturer "Bell Textron".
These helicopters would have been received since last July, but no details were given on the exact number of this first batch that will be deployed by the Royal Navy at the level of the multi-purpose frigates.
On its Facebook page, the FAR Maroc Forum specified that the contract for the purchase of these helicopters, intended for the multiple missions of the Royal Navy, was announced in November 2021 by the website specialized in military issues "Defensa". According to the signed contract, it is an order for 24 helicopters with an option to purchase twelve more if needed.
