Morocco Bolsters Military with Indian-Made Desert-Ready Tactical Trucks

Morocco has acquired tactical transport trucks from India to strengthen the vehicle fleet of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR). The first images of these vehicles have just been unveiled.
Of the Tata LPTA 2038 brand, these military vehicles are adapted to desert regions like southeastern Morocco, where they will soon be put into service, reports FAR-Maroc, which specifies that the vehicles have already been used in Rajasthan, a largely arid region, even having a real desert, the Thar.
The trucks are also equipped with a loading-unloading system, high-mobility 6X6 all-terrain four-wheel drive and can be equipped with a common turret, a multi-barreled rocket launcher, or even a missile firing battery, it is pointed out.
These vehicles are in addition to other types of trucks recently acquired from Renault, Mercedes and Man manufacturers, according to the same source, which indicates that this military investment is part of a plan to renew the tactical vehicle fleet of the Moroccan army.
