Morocco Blocks Repatriation Flight for Stranded Israeli and Emirati Nationals

Israeli and Emirati nationals, stranded in Morocco due to border closures, will not be able to return to their country on the plane chartered by the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
According to the Jerusalem Post newspaper, the Moroccan government, having issued an unfavorable opinion, did not appreciate being left out of the bilateral agreement. It would have preferred to be consulted by the two parties at the time of the decision-making.
Originally, the United Arab Emirates and the Israeli government agreed to repatriate their nationals on an Emirati flight. However, the decision was made without the opinion of the Moroccan authorities.
The Israeli citizens wanted to return to their country on the occasion of the Easter holiday, the newspaper reports, noting that about 74 Emirati nationals are still stranded in Morocco, without giving more details on the number of Israelis.
