Morocco Begins Repatriation of Nationals Killed in Libyan Airstrike

The operation to repatriate the Moroccans killed in the air raid by Marshal Khalifa Haftar against a migrant center in Tajoura has started, announces the Moroccan Consulate in Tunis in a press release.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Delegate Ministry in charge of Moroccans Abroad, the Consulate announces that it has initiated, since Friday, July 12, 2019, the procedures for the repatriation of the remains of the victims.
The families of the latter will be informed of the date of death of their son and the arrival of the remains at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, the same source said.
Pending this moment, the procedures continue, with the Moroccan and Libyan authorities, to finalize the identification of the victims, in order to repatriate them and evacuate the injured.
