Morocco Beach Closures: Where Tourists Can Still Swim Safely

No less than a dozen Moroccan beaches have been closed to the public in one week. However, some beaches on the Mediterranean coast and in the south of the country have escaped this ban.
The Mediterranean coast is full of beaches where it is still possible to spend the summer vacation. Having recorded the lowest prevalence, the seaside resorts of Al Hoceima and Tetouan have remained open to the public.
Lovers of the Atlantic, on the other hand, can opt for the beaches of Essaouira, Agadir, Sidi Ifni or Dakhla, which continue to freely welcome vacationers, as well as the famous Sidi Bouzid resort.
The Moroccan authorities have been forced to close a dozen beaches, due to the high incidence rates recorded in recent days in certain seaside towns.
