Morocco: the BDS movement denounces the transit of F-35 parts to Israel

The ship in question, the "Maersk Denver", docked in the Moroccan port to unload several containers, some of which are classified as "dangerous cargo". According to the information relayed by the movement, these goods are intended to be transferred to another ship, the "Maersk Norfolk", which is then to sail directly to the port of Haifa.

Components subject to arms control

To support its accusations, BDS relies on data from The Ditch, a platform specialized in monitoring maritime shipments. These elements indicate that the "Maersk Denver" was transporting three containers containing parts for the American F-35 fighter jets, manufactured by Lockheed Martin.

Since these materials are subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the movement concludes that the nature of the shipment is "clearly military".
