Morocco Bans Ministers from Traveling to Coronavirus Hotspots

Moroccan ministers are no longer allowed to travel to risk countries, following the recommendations of the national steering committee.
China, South Korea, Italy, France and Spain are recognized as epidemic hotspots of the Coronavirus that can no longer host Moroccan ministers. This is the decision made by Saâdeddine El Othmani, Prime Minister of the Moroccan government, in view of the recommendations of the National Steering Committee.
In Italy, this restriction only concerned a few regions, including Bergamo, in northern Italy, leaving for example the possibility of visiting Rome. Since the spread of the virus, it has been extended to other Italian cities. This restriction is also extended to Spain, particularly in the cities affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Today, this restriction concerns France and some Gulf countries, where coronavirus outbreaks have been recorded.
According to the daily Assabah, gatherings and events held, even within the kingdom, where the coronavirus remains confined, are also prohibited. Note that until last Tuesday, 33 suspected cases were recorded in Morocco. The health status of the person tested positive for the coronavirus remains stable. The second case, an 80-year-old woman, is in critical condition.
