Morocco Bans French Magazine Marianne Over Muhammad Cartoon

The French weekly Marianne (issue 1407) has been banned from distribution in Morocco, due to a caricature drawing deemed offensive to the prophet Muhammad.
The Moroccan authorities made this decision under Articles 31 and 94 of the Press and Publishing Law, which prohibit the publication of any document that infringes on the Muslim religion.
The drawing in question, published in the February 29 issue, depicts the prophet Muhammad in tears, with the title "Mahomet débordé par les intégristes" (Mahomet overwhelmed by the integralists) and the caption "It’s hard to be loved by jerks."
