Morocco’s Atlas Lions Nominated for Best National Team at Globe Soccer Awards

The Atlas Lions have been nominated for the 2021 Globe Soccer Awards for the award of best national team of the year. This is the first time the Moroccan national team has participated in such a competition alongside seven other national teams.
For its first participation, Morocco will have to face serious competitors such as Argentina, Brazil, France, Mexico, England, the United States and Italy. The nomination of the Moroccan national team for the 2021 Globe Soccer Awards crowns the efforts made by the Moroccan players during the 2022 World Cup qualification campaign. The Atlas Lions are leaders of Group I with 18 points.
Organized annually by the European Club Association (ECA) in collaboration with the European Football Agents Association (EFAA), the various trophies will be awarded on December 27 in Dubai after an online vote followed by a vote by a jury composed of coaches, technical directors and club presidents.
