Morocco Arrests Two for Promoting Terrorism on Social Media After New Zealand Attack

The Moroccan authorities do not joke with the apology of terrorism. Two people have just been arrested for calling for revenge following the terrorist attacks in New Zealand.
After the arrest by the security forces, a few days ago, of a student from the Sefrou Institute of Applied Technology accused of having glorified the terrorist attack that cost the lives of 50 worshippers in two mosques in New Zealand, the elements of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) arrested in Tangier two people suspected of having launched a call for revenge, on social networks, following this terrorist attack.
A security source told the Spanish news agency EFE that the two people arrested in Tangier had disseminated hateful and inciting content on social networks, adding that the accused had been transferred to Salé as part of the investigation.
These arrests come just hours after the leaders of Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State called on their supporters to "retaliate" to avenge the Muslim victims of the attack in New Zealand.
