Morocco's Al Aoula Unveils Diverse Ramadan TV Lineup, Including New Comedy "Ahlam City"

In an effort to accompany its viewers throughout the month of Ramadan, which starts between April 12 and 13, Morocco’s first channel, Al Aoula, has developed a varied program of documentaries, fictions, and shows.

Moroccans who love humor will be able to enjoy Ahlam City. A show offered to relax. It is a series that tells the story of Zineb who manages to have the house of her dreams, a luxurious villa overlooking the sea, which she shares with her husband, her daughter, her sister and her parents. But the regained tranquility will be put to the test, because of a conflict between Zineb’s family and their neighbor Zaitouni, the owner of a plot of land that he intends to exploit. The conflict will soon give way to a love story between the son of the latter and the daughter of the Hammadi family.

Al Aoula has also planned for the pleasure of viewers, Kehwa ness ness, a social comedy that takes place in a cafe, a true microcosm of Moroccan society. It features many people who rub shoulders in a cafe, with their stories, their fears and their hopes. On the program, there is also Dar Lahna, a production directed by Driss Aroukh with Mohammed Ljem, Nezha Regragui, Abdessamad Mitfah Lkhair, Adil Abatourab, Jalila Tlemci, Rachid Rafik in the cast.

Regarding fiction, Al Aoula intends to satisfy viewers with Bnat Lassas, which is the story of two sisters who found themselves on the street because of their father, dependent on gambling and alcohol. There will also be Al Madi La Yamout 2, directed by Hicham Jebbari with Rachid El Ouali, Fatima Khair, Amine Ennaji, Fatima Zahra Bennaser, Ahlam Zaimi, Said Ait Baja, Nasser Akbab, Nisrine Erradi, Jihane Kidari in the cast. In the special Ramadan program, there is also the series Salef Aadra, which traces the story of a young woman, beautiful and intelligent, who embarks on singing and poetry after abandoning her studies, for lack of means. She uses her talent to denounce all forms of injustice, especially those suffered by Soulaliyate women.

Al Aoula also offers Slaw slam directed by Zakia Tahiri with Fadoua Taleb, Youssef Joundy, Mounia Lamkimel, Saad Mouafaq, Zineb Ennajm and many others. As for the documentaries, they will be able to travel through Amalay to the heart of the regions, traditions and Moroccan heritage. It is a program specially designed to introduce viewers to Morocco in its cultural and religious diversity.
