Morocco and Israel Sign Landmark Cybersecurity Agreement in Rabat

David Govrin, head of the diplomatic mission of Tel Aviv in Rabat, said that Morocco and Israel have signed their first cooperation agreement in the field of cyber defense.
This first cooperation agreement in the field of cyber defense was signed on Thursday, July 15 in Rabat, in the presence of Ygal Unna, Director General of the Israeli cyber directorate and his Moroccan counterpart, General Mustafa Rabii, said the Israeli diplomat in a tweet. It aims to establish cooperation in "the fields of research, development and cybersecurity," said the head of the diplomatic mission of Tel Aviv in Rabat, David Govrin. The information has not yet been confirmed by the Moroccan authorities.
Morocco normalized its relations with Israel on December 10 in exchange for the American recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara. Since then, the two parties have been working to strengthen their military cooperation. The Moroccan, Israeli and "other allied countries" of Israel commandos were also trained from July 4 to 9 in Tel Aviv.
