Morocco and Israel Sign Defense Pact as IDF Officials Visit Rabat

Morocco and Israel have just signed a defense cooperation agreement to strengthen their military cooperation.
The agreement comes during a visit to Morocco this week by an Israeli delegation, composed of senior IDF officers.
Tal Kelman, the officer in charge of Iranian affairs, as well as Effie Defrin, commander of the army’s international cooperation, and Brigadier General Gimel, commander of the operations division of the Intelligence Directorate, met with Corps General El Farouk Belkhir in Rabat.
The officers also met with other senior Moroccan military officials, including the country’s intelligence division chief and the operations division chief.
According to the Far-Maroc forum on its Facebook page, an agreement was concluded on the occasion of these meetings to organize collaboration between the two armies. And to add: "the two parties also discussed the possibility of participating in international exercises and reviewed opportunities for cooperation in the field of training, among other things."
