Morocco and France Flex Air Power: F-16s and Rafales Unite in High-Stakes "Marathon 25" Exercise

As part of the "Marathon 25" maneuvers, the Moroccan Air Force and its French counterpart conducted a joint air exercise, involving Moroccan F-16 fighters, Rafale fighters, and a French A330 aircraft.
This joint exercise aims to "strengthen interoperability and mastery of air procedures and tactics between Morocco and France," it is specified. Five Rafale B fighters and a French army air-to-air refueling and strategic transport aircraft, and eight F-16 fighters and Puma helicopters for transport and medical evacuation of the Royal Moroccan Air Force participated in these maneuvers.
The exercise "includes two main phases: the first consists of a firing campaign and air-to-air refueling, and the second in a joint exercise on tactics and operational coordination, which reflects the depth of cooperation and complementarity between the two air forces," sources report.
